Congrats on being a firefighter Ed!
I agree Ed! Its been too quiet in here. Not sure what everyone else is up to. Sure the warmer weather has something to do with it. Although sure seems to keep us guessing though, Nice 70 degree weather one day and 32 and snowing the next. We had a few inches of snow here over the weekend, my son had 6" where he lives. Mountains are getting a lot more than that. Sure going to be nice having a wet start to the warmer months, but I am ready to get back into that back country! Going to be mid July to August before we get in where we were last year in June.
We been doing a lot of fishing, caught several nice brown trout through April, this weekend we went after mackinaw but think the weather had the feeding messed up as only had a few bites. Greg caught a 4 1/2 pound mackinaw last week, besides catching a lot of smaller ones.
Hope we hear from others on here! Got to get this site hoppin again! Need to plan a get together again as well!
Hope everyone is having a grand start to the week!

Thanks Cindy! I'm very excited about becoming a firefighter. It's been cold and wet here too. Has your daughter made it into town yet? Need any help with her getting here, just let me know. I haven't done any fishing yet this season. A friend of mine just called to use my canoe so I guess the lakes around here are starting to open up. Funny thing is that I've owned this canoe now for three years and I have yet to use it! But my friends love it!! LOL!

Good Morning Ed,
Amber leaves base down there on the 12, she said if all goes good they should be in Colorado Springs by thew 15th, Pauls dad is a trucker and has gotten a load for Colorado, so they will be following him up him up here, so if there is any problems he will be arouond to assist. Just not sure how traveling with a 1 year old for 11 hours buckled in a car seat is going to go....lol. He is really good in the car but 11 hours, hmmm. The moving company picked up Ambers stuff yesterday and will put it in their warehouse in Colorado Springs till she finds a place to stay. And they do the unpacking and setting everything back up for her...pretty good deal I thought! So all we have to do is sit around and enjoy the day....lol. Will let you know when we will be in town, I think I will be there the 15th if she is on schedule in the travel, and take Monday as well. Maybe we can get together for dinner or something.
Talk to ya soon! Cindy

Wow, That is a long time for a small child to be locked into a child seat! But atleast they will have family to follow them. Tracy and I would love to have dinner with you all when the time is right. With her and her hubby just getting here and all the new excitment, I think it would be best for us to wait until next time.
With this web site not being active anymore, I might not participate anymore. So please Cindy, write to my personal e-mail account!!!! Thanks!
