Eric,
I left you a message. Have you had the chance to listen to the "Broadcasters"? We enjoy classic rock if its from the older era 50's- 70's, not much into hard classic rock that developed later...I know Greg and I are going to be the old folk at this gathering...haha. I know what we may consider classic may be prehistoric to the rest of you...lol. Let me know if you have heard this band.

I have to admit that I have not heard this band and I don't know exactly what they play. I am not sure if it is original music or if it is all cover music. They do not have a website so I am having a hard time getting any information on them. I sent you a message with a description of them according to themselves. It sounds like it might be borderline for you and Greg. I want everyone to be happy and I get to see my roommate and his girlfriend all the time so don't let that influence your decision. Tell me what you truly want to do and we will go from there.
This is the only descriptive of the band that I can find so it is not very informative but it might help you decide.
Los Broadcasters are currently out on their self-critically acclaimed "Five White Boys World Tour" (¡La Gira Mundial De Los 5 Gringos!) bringing their own special mix of explosive country-rock twangling and cold beer wrangling to the people! From Cash to the Cult, this band hosts a nightly double-wide throwdown hoedown channeling the ghosts of Hank and Bon Scott into a monster truckload of hillbilly hellraising and suburban cowboy chic!

Yep...got the message, still not sure what to think...haha... funny that on Southside Johnny's site they say they are classic rock, but with this discription they are alt. country. See if we hear from Ed and Tracy and what they want to do. I chat with Tracy often on MSN but dont see her on this morning and I know Ed is at work already. Like you said the other day if we are not happy with one spot we can go to another...we can bar hop!! ;D

I am always up for bar hopping. Especially on Tejon Street. There are so many places that are close together. Red River Saloon and Southside Johnny's is a bit farther apart but I don't mind walking. A nice refreshing walk between bars is fine with me. Besides that, I trying to give up alcohol all together for one month. I need to lose weight and get into good shape for summer so I can feel more confident when I meet women. (or try to meet women anyway!!! ;D) I will probably just be on the H20 this weekend. Just have to see how things go I guess! More than likely I will end up having a beer or two but that won't hurt to much I suppose. I am going to the gym Sunday morning though so I don't want to drink much if any at all.

If need be I can be the DD...I am a H2O addict! 8-)Sometimes I may have a mixed drink but most the time I have a pitcher of water set in front of me. Greg likes a beer or two, neither of us drink much. Weather getting nice enough here its about time to start those evening walks and jogs, only thing I dont like about winter is its to dang cold to go for that walk after work here. But its getting warmer!

I love my water as well so we can keep the pitchers of water coming all night while everyone else hits drinks if they wish to. I can't wait until it warms up enough to mountain bike again and be more active outside. Of course it is quite a bit warmer here most of the time than it is where you live. It is supposed to be 47 tomorrow and 49 Sunday. Evening jogs and walks are great! Epsecially if you have someone to share them with.

Our temps the last few days(except for today) has been nice, about 20 degrees warmer than we should be...have seen 40 a few times this week, last weekend even had 45 on Sunday! Snow here is so wet, its like a sponge when you pick up a handfull of it, squeeze water out of it. Today we are cooler, but have that storm moving in. They are predicting 1-3" tonight and 2-6" tomorrow.

Okay Eric, since you asked me to be "honest". I suggest first we meet in Corpus Christi, TX. We then rent dune buggies and haul ass down the beaches of Padre Island. After that we hop on a plane and head to Cabo San Lucas and drink Tequila at Sammy's place. Then we get on another plane and head over to Bryce Canyon Nat'l Park for some hiking. Just don't be a slacker, because I have to be back at work on Sun moring!!! ;D.............Well you said to be honest.

I think I would rather try the Red River Saloon first. Then see what happens. Just remember, I won't be staying out late. I'll most likely head for home around 10pm or so. I get up at 5am for work.

Hey Eric,
I'm with Ed, lets try Red River Saloon, have your friends come along, they may be surprised at how much fun all of us together may have, no matter what band is playin! If things seem to be bland we can move on to somewhere else.
It has stopped snowing for now!!
If Greg dont work tonight we should be on the road around 8 in the morning maybe earlier, cant remember how long it takes to get to the Springs, but figure about 4 hours and if roads are nasty , definitely longer. Will give ya a call when we get into town. You planning on going to gun show in Pueblo, dont think we are. But Greg may change his mind by morning.

I have no problem with that and if my friends don't wish to go that is fine to. I see them every day. I don't get to see Ed very often and I have never met you or your husband yet. Call me once you are in town. I am not sure about the gun show now. I am just getting home and it is 2 am. That will make for an early day tomorrow if I want to get there and back and hang out with you all. Take care and drive safe!
