I was thinking Greg may be interested in the gun show, I havent told him yet...hahaha...hate those wide eyed glossy looks he gets when I mention "gun show". He just bought a new snowmobile and has spent his allowance for the year Meeting at show would be cool! Then meeting Ed somewhere later, doesnt matter where. Just let me know so I can set up motel reservations.

Has anyone tried calling him (Max)? I don't have his number anymore. Ed I will have to look at home but I think I still have his number. I will have to try and call him tonight if I still have it. I thought I had it in my phone but when I bought my new phone I must not have transfered it. I will let you know if I get in touch with him.

I am still up for meeting this Saturday at the show in Pueblo but I don't know where to go after that. I would like for us to all get together here in the Springs somewhere. I don't know what kind of atmosphere you and your husband like Cindy. Smoking or non smoking, bar type setting or something like that. I don't know if you and your husband go to the bar much or not but I have a pretty nice little place where I go and throw darts. Ed has been there a couple of times. That is all I have as a suggestion right now.

Hey Eric,
We still go to the bar now and then. One of the bars here usually has a live band every Friday and Saturday, usually old rock and roll or country, but the last few months not as much so. The bars here all have a smoking atmosphere, so that is okay. We are not smokers, but deal with it so we can enjoy a night on the town. Greg and I are pretty open to whatever, we just enjoy gettin out and havin fun. I will let you know if we can make it, still up in the air.

Speaking of a live band or something like that, I really enjoy those kind of shows as well. There is a place downtown called Southside Johnnies that has a live band on the weekends if memory serves me correctly. If not I will see if I can find something of that nature. I would much rather do that than just sit in a smoke filled bar. I am a non smoker as well but I deal with it. My girlfriend is a smoker so it does not bother me too bad. Only when it is so bad that you can't hardley see because of the smoke is when I get bothered by it. I will see what I can dig up and get back with you.

There is going to be a country band called Railbenders at the Red River Saloon (formerly 32 Bleu) on Tejon street. That is Saturday night and it is a $5 cover for guys and free for ladies. You can go to www.railbenders.com and see if they might interest you at all. Not sure what kind of music you and your husband get into. Next is Pint Night at Bristol Brewery. You can read about that even at www.bristolbrewing.com/brewing/events.html#pint and see what you think. Here is another option. Slonktoberfest. A party sponsered by slonky.com/Next we have The Remotes playing at the Dublin House which is a pretty decent place to hang out. www.remotesband.com/ South side Johnny's is going to have a band called The Broadcasters which is an alternative country band. www.southsidejohnnys.biz/So, there are a few options for consideration. Let me know if any one of those sounds good once you know if you can make it or not.

Same here, can tolerate the smoke until it gets thick enough that you need to cut through it with a knife.
Sounds like a good idea, just let us know.

Ok, I guess the band Broadcasters at Southside Johnny's is a classic rock band. Any of the things i mentioned sound good to me. I enjoy all kinds of music. I am not much of a dancer though. If I get out there and shake a leg someone might try to put me down like a lame horse!!! ;D I have been know to do a little two-steppin now and then. That was long time ago though. I might step on some toes now!! ;D Let me know what you think. Once Ed reads this maybe he will put in his two cents and see if we can decide on anything.

Okay Eric...lol...you would fit right in with the dance crowd here...lol..some of us know how to two step but the greater part of them dont know a thing about dancin. But who cares! As long as were havin fun! Greg taught me how to country swing when we started dating 26 years ago. I felt we did pretty good out on the dance floor till I watched my son and daughter dance the first time...I was wondering who taught them!...lol...they tore up the floor with country swing, I looked at Greg and said "dont you even think about it!"...haha...aint no one gonna flip me over their shoulder! I knew my kids went to dances in highschool together, FFA dances, homecomings, ect...just never knew they were learning to country swing. Now if they are on the dance floor I love to sit back and watch.
Either Country or oldies sound good to me. See what Ed and Traci think and go from there.
Thanks for lookin into this for us!

I'm open to what ever. That new country club down town would be fun to check out. Hey Eric, don't let Cindy fool ya! She and Greg sure can dance. With her long red hair, I bet she could knock someone out when Greg twirled her! If that was me, I would have thrown up! Ed

Is that new country club one of those places Eric listed? Have either of you been to hear the Railbenders? They sound pretty good on here, are they as good live?
Greg was called in to plow at 5 this morning, I think it tried snowing all night, but only looks like we have maybe an inch, and still snowing.
Greg said we should be able to make it over this weekend, depending how much snow we get and what it does Friday to what time we leave here Saturday. He may be plowing all night Friday (thats when the next big storm is to hit us). We may not be able to make gun show but should have no problem getting into the Springs that afternoon. Will keep you informed as we see how this storm unfolds.
Hope everyone is having a great morning!

Yep, The Red River Saloon is a new country club in town. I have never heard of the band Railbenders. Should be interesting. You and Greg are welcome to stay with Tracy and I if you need to. Ed

Thanks Ed, I will talk to Greg. You sure you have room for us? I looked at motels and can get a room at a decent price, must be off season Neither Greg or I have to work Monday so I think we will go on up to Denver Sunday morning and see family I haven't seen in a long time, and maybe go to Denver Museum or Colorado History Museum. Has anyone been to the Colorado History Museum?? I want to know if its worth going to. They have a new exhibit called "Ancient Voices" its on the Indians of Colorado, it looked interesting and I am always reading on the history of the Indians since we had so many around here. Hope to see everyone soon! ;D Cindy
