Cool pics Grandpaw! How many of these are edible? We have a lot of mushrooms around here I know several are edible but I can only unmistakingly identify one and that is the Pinejack. Dick, can you tell me one more time how to load pics onto here, I think I remember, but before I try it and end up with a pictureless post because I thought I remembered, I thought I better ask. Thanks, Cindy

Cool pics! I used to work with a guy that would hunt for mushrooms. Always thought he was kind of weird, LOL! Wish I knew more about them. Would be kind of cool to know which are safe to eat for camp cooking.

I have no idea about the fungi around here but if you were in Indiana I could tell you which ones to eat and not eat. Actually, I only know of a couple that are edible and I won't touch anything outside of those since they can be quite deadly. Eric P.S. It was good seeing you and Tracy last night Ed. We need to get together again sometime. I still have yet to meet Cindy and her husband. I think a nice winter "cook-in" would be nice if we could arrange that sometime.
